About Me
My name is Haitham, and I am a street photographer with a lifelong love for the art and science of photography. What began in 2019, during the pandemic in Istanbul with a simple Canon 2000D, quickly grew into one of the most meaningful pursuits of my life. Photography became both a way to relieve stress and a way to explore the world around me.
Over time, I have deepened my craft by studying the theory and practice of light, especially through books like Light: Science & Magic by Fil Hunter, Steven Biver, and Paul Fuqua — a classic that continues to shape how I approach every frame.
I specialize in motion blur street photography, architectural studies, and portraiture, always striving to balance technical discipline with artistic expression.
As part of the Fujifilm family, I shoot with both the X-T4 and the X-H2 for my street and portrait work, while my medium format system (Fujifilm GFX100S with GF110mm f/2 WR, GF55mm f/1.7 WR, and GF35–70mm zoom)has transformed the way I see light, depth, and detail. These tools are central to my work and allow me to create images with the richness and clarity I strive for.
Beyond photography, I am also the founder of Learn Hive (learn-hive.com), a professional English and German training school dedicated to helping people communicate globally.
At my core, I create images not for recognition, but for the love of photography itself. Every shot is a chance to tell a story, to capture a fleeting moment, and to preserve the beauty of everyday life.
